To 1780 and Camp Lake James
from I-40:
- Take exit 94 (Dysartsville Road – Lake James); from
I-40 West, turn right onto Dysartsville Road; from I-40 East,
turn left.
- Go 0.5 mile to the stop sign at Highway 70.
- Turn left and go 1.6 miles to Bridgewater Road.
- Turn right and go 1.2 miles to Benfield’s Landing Road.
- Turn left and go 2.1 miles to Highway 126.
- Turn right and go 1.5 miles. The entrance to 1780 is on your
left - Campbell's Trace.
- GPS Coordinates: 35 45.35 N; 81 54.23 W
- For Camp Lake James, continue on Campbell's Trace, which
leads directly to The Camp.

To Old Wildlife Club from
I-40:
- Take exit 94 (Dysartsville Road – Lake James); from
I-40 West, turn right onto Dysartsville Road; from I-40 East,
turn left.
- Go 0.5 mile to the stop sign at Highway 70.
- Turn left and go 1.6 miles to Bridgewater Road.
- Turn right and go 1.2 miles to Benfield’s Landing Road.
- Turn left and go 2.1 miles to Highway 126.
- Turn left and go 3 miles (past Marion Lake Golf Club). Highway
126 will make a sharp curve to the left. At this curve, go
straight onto Wildlife Road. The entrance to Old Wildlife Club
is on your right.
