The Camp staff works throughout the year to offer members and guests of all ages activities and events that help them enjoy our beautiful setting on Lake James. Sometimes it’s as simple as building a campfire and roasting s’mores or setting up a telescope and teaching members about constellations.

Other times, it’s organizing a community campout or a quiet wine tasting on the dock at sunset. And, in winter months, The Camp arranges ski trips and excursions to quaint mountain towns like Black Mountain, N.C.  You don’t want to miss the annual cardboard boat race.
