Homesite Description
Lot 60 is part of a new collection of four lake-access homesites featuring incredible views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Dobson's Knob. Click here for a downloadable map of these lots.
We named this intimate enclave “Rafter's Roost” after the abundance of wild turkey that call Old Wildlife Club home. (Like a "gaggle" of geese or a "murder" of crows, a "rafter" is the name for a group of turkey.) With the community’s many viewing meadows, an afternoon or evening of nature-watching is always a relaxing activity.
The Rafter’s Roost homesites (also including lots 57, 58 and 69) offer flat, accommodating building envelopes that make it easy to create your mountain retreat -- whether you want to build your vision right away or start with one of our smaller cabin plans and expand when you’re ready.
