Crescent Communities on Lake James
The vision for our communities on Lake James– 1780, Old Wildlife Club and North Peak – came together with a focus on conservation and the environment. Each community features large, wooded homesites with protected trees and significant buffers that create wildlife habitats.
We want to preserve the natural beauty of the Lake James region so it can be enjoyed and appreciated for generations to come.
Our parent company, Crescent Resources, LLC, worked with the North Carolina Division of Parks and Recreation in 2004 to expand neighboring Lake James State Park, to more than 3,500 acres and create additional recreational opportunities for our property owners and regional residents and visitors.
In 2006, we worked with the National Parks system to build and dedicate new pathways of the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail – creating a linear national park in the 1780 community. In 2008, we completed The Camp, which offers our residents and their guests recreational opportunities, as well as educational resources to help them create sustainable and environmentally friendly homes on Lake James.
Natural beauty surrounds us at Crescent Communities on Lake James. The region’s environmental heritage guides us and our commitment to preservation.
